Accessible Information Standard
We follow the NHS Accessible Information Standard, which means we aim to identify, record, flag, and meet the information and communication needs of patients (and where appropriate, their carers or parents) who have a disability, impairment, or sensory loss.

If you, or someone you care for, needs information in an alternative format, or communication support during an appointment (for example, a British Sign Language interpreter), please let a member of our team know so we can arrange this and record your preference for future contact.
Interpreting and translation services
We want everyone to be able to access our services and understand information about their care, regardless of the language they speak.
If English is not your first language, or you would prefer to use an interpreter, please tell us when booking your appointment so that we can arrange interpreting support. This service is free of charge. Please avoid using family members, particularly children, to interpret for you where possible, as this isn't always appropriate for medical conversations.
Written materials can also be translated into other languages on request. Please speak to reception for more information.
